The Payroll Associate will be responsible for payroll preparation/processing, tax reporting, benefits-records administration, payroll systems maintenance, payroll strategy, employee support, planning and communications. Job Requirements

Compiles and records employee time and payroll data.
Compute and post wages and deductions or prepare paychecks.

Qualifications

Bachelors/Associates Degree or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

Experience with Paychex or related system required

Summary
Work from home in Hawaii as a Systems Administrator for Etica, Inc. on either a part-time basis or as a contractor. Etica, Inc. is growing and has an opening for a Systems Administrator who has at least one year of experience in Linux. Solid understanding of LAMP environment, and good communication skills are required. The position is for the evening shift which ends at 2:30AM Hawaii time (HAST). This position is perfect for someone who wants a second source of income.

Requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ability to work unsupervised from home
Ability to work the evening shift that ends at 2:30AM HAST
Solid troubleshooting skills to resolve website issues
Understands web hosting protocols such as TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SSH
Provides timely resolution of system and application issues
Some Windows Server experience is a plus

Summary:
The Desktop Support Technician’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Providing technical support to primary office site, remote offices and home office/remote workers.

• Build rapport and elicit problem details from Carenet internal customers
• Install, configure, and manage Windows 7 workstations.

• Ensure that all systems are maintained at current patch levels for operating system, browsers, security and applications.
• Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new hardware and software to support end user computing needs.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
• Install and maintain anti-virus software with in house automated tools
• Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Develop and maintain proficiency in the use of company-wide standard software
• Ensure the compliance to enterprise security policy.
• Provide on-call support for a 24×7 operations and be able to work any shift.
