Key Responsibilities
The Web Content and Social Media Specialist will have a broad range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the digital footprint of SMHS. These include:
- Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and curate content for the SMHS websites, email newsletters, and other online platforms.
- Write compelling copy for websites, social media, and digital publications.
- Collaborate with the SMHS Communications team to ensure all digital materials are up-to-date.
- Digital Marketing:
- Assist in the execution of online marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all content aligns with the university’s branding and language guidelines.
- Website Maintenance:
- Conduct regular audits of the SMHS site, reorganizing and improving content as necessary.
- Utilize Drupal Content Management Systems for content updates and management.
- Analytics and Strategy:
- Prepare and analyze website and social media metrics.
- Use analytics to inform and refine digital strategies and decision-making processes.
- Collaboration and Compliance:
- Work directly with various SMHS departments to ensure digital content meets university standards.
- Other Duties:
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor, which are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
