Some responsibilities include:

The responsibility of a Video Game Translator includes the translation of in-game contents and any other translations, such as in-game text, promotional text, manuals and more, that may be necessary for the final product. This position involves working for a large AAA Video Game Company. In particular:

• To perform translation and/or proofreading as instructed to the highest possible level
• To adjust translations according to client feedback as deemed necessary by the Project Coordinators and Project Managers
• To provide professional responses to client feedback under the instructions of the PTW UK supervisors
• Assist in linguistic work as required and undertake other duties from time to time as may reasonably be required

Required Skills
Native level fluency in of at least one of the following languages.
• Mexican Spanish
• Excellent fluency in English
• Ability to work under pressure and meet given deadlines
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
• Interest and knowledge of video games and platforms
• Keen eye for detail
• Excellent MS Office skills

Preferred Skills
• Experience with CAT tools
• Understanding of games industry and game terminology
• Video Game experience is greatly preferred
• Translation experience (Preferably within the games industry)
• Passion for video games
• Previous experience in Localization QA (Quality Assurance) of video games will be an advantage

Spanish Translator for Deylandra Language Software

Some responsibilities include:

Deylandra Language Software is looking for a Spanish translator to help in the building of our language software.

$16 per hour. 21 hours per week.
Our hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:30am to 6:30pm.

Hours can potentially be flexible to an extent, but you must be able to come into the office.
No telecommuting I’m afraid.

We are a small startup. The job entails helping us translate scripts, writing test and quiz questions, and helping with design concepts and marketing.

You must be a native speaker of Spanish.
