Some responsibilities include:
Plan Document Support
Performs the installation plan process and ongoing plan maintenance, ensuring compliance with guidelines set by ERISA, IRS, and DOL
Reviews standard or specialized documents to implement new and takeover retirement plans and ensures compliance
Initiates or responds to client requests for plan documents amendment/restatements
Meets or exceeds established turnaround times to avoid financial penalties
Evaluates existing procedures as needed to increase customer satisfaction and team effectiveness
Follows team process/proceduresClient Service
– Serves as a technical resource for customers, distribution channels, LFG associates, and other business partners for design, installation, compliance, and problem resolution
– Fosters relationships that ensure customer satisfaction and retention of plan assets
– Produces Employer-Employee Plan implementation communications, as well as producer sales support communications
– Provides pre-sale and after sale consultations on regulatory issues
– Monitors plan activity, through a review process, for qualification status and potential risks and/or financial liability to the client and/or Lincoln
– Handles pre and post-sale consultation with clients and producers
– Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
– Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives
– Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality
– Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
