Key areas of responsibility include:
– Responding to phone calls and emails from community team members about anything related to HR.
– Acting as a resource for HR policies, compliance (federal & state requirements) and required screenings, such as background checks and drug screens, required training, workers’ compensation, etc.
– Assisting in escalation of employee relations, payroll, and benefits issues to the appropriate HR or Payroll team.
– Supporting all employee relations efforts and providing guidance to managers on the process for investigations, discipline and terminations and then escalating these as needed to the Regional HR Managers.
– Providing rehire approvals based on policies and guidelines.
