Oh&S Online reports on an article from OSHA that states an injured person doing company work from home could be still counted as days away from work regardless of the fact that the employee was doing work for the company.(Source)
I think that's sort of unfair. In my opinion just as long as the employee is doing work for the company, it should not be counted as days away. Or at least it should be marked down that even though it was "days away" the employee actually did do real work for the company and therefore the situation should be handled differently. It shouldn't be handled as a regular "day away" where an employee took time off for themselves.
