A woman from Houston, TX named Thandi Zulu was scammed by a company that claimed they would pay her to do data entry from home. But they said she first had to pay a $200.00.
That was back in 2001. However, consumer experts say that work at home scams are currently on the rise.(Source)
VWAH will continue to report these types of articles, just as a reminder to always be cautious of work at home job scams.
