Work at Home Gaining Popularity

The Augusta Chronicle reports on how work at home is gaining in popularity. They report that in 2004 23.5 million people were telecommuters, as opposed to 11.6 million in 1997.

January 2009 Update: When this article was originally written work at home was becoming more popular, but still had a ways to go.

I can remember having a harder time finding work at home jobs, and just finding anything really about work at home. But 2003-2004 was about the time work at home started to pick up a lot. So it really was gaining popularity around that time.
