Woman Scammed by Fake Work from Home Opp
July 18, 2008
A woman from Omaha was scammed by a company advertising a part-time job involving processing rebates for large companies. Before the woman, named Joanne, could start working the company charged her a $200.00 fee.
The $200.00 fee sent off a red flag and Joann asked for her money back, but has gotten the run around for four months.
This company is notorious for scamming people and the BBB says the company has nearly 300 complaints throughout the USA. (Source)
I really hope Joann gets all of her money back! Stories like these are sad, but on the bright side, there still are LEGITIMATE work at home jobs out there. This website has many! Check out the Work From Home section!
