Post Gazette reports on work at home scams.

Post Gazette's Y. Zanos answers a question about whether a not work at home opportunities were legit. And she says that legit work at home jobs some people have are often from companies the people had/has a working relationship with already. She also gives info on where to find out about avoiding work at home scams and help on finding legitimate jobs.

January 2009 Update: Well, when this article was originally published it was true that a lot of people working at home did usually already have a relationship with the company they were working for. Usually they worked in the office first and eventually worked at home part-time and in the office part-time, and then eventually they would work at home full-time at home.

But now there are plenty companies who hire people without having had a previous relationship with them. So things have come far! Which is a great thing!
