One Million Might Lose Jobs in 2009

MSNBC reports that one million Americans will most likely lose their jobs next year in 2009.

The article gets its information from layoff tracking firm Challenger, Gray and Christmas. Which states that more than one million Americans lost their jobs this year in 2008 and that the trend is most likely to at least continue on into the middle of next year.

Challenger, Gray and Christmas CEO John Challenger says that even if an Obama stimulus goes through it will still take time for it to take effect.(Source)

This is such horrible news for those in danger of losing their jobs and others this might affect. I wonder how long the "trend" of people losing their jobs will continue. With the way these "politicians" and "leaders" are I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts for a while. All of the people who have lost, or who are in danger is losing, their jobs are in my prayers.
