Home Business is Booming

WCBS TV reports that home based business is really booming. Reporter Cindy Hsu interviewed some virtual assistants (VA) who work from home.

The report states that there are currently over thirty thousand VAs world wide, and that pay ranges anywhere from $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.(Source. Video Included)

I've thought about being a Virtual Assistant, but I think it's too much like being an employee for me. It's still people telling you what they want you do to and you have to do it. LOL! I don't know. I still work part-part time for a one company, but it's very flexible and they don't have much work to do, so I don't really feel like an employee.

But I much prefer doing my own websites and blogs, because I dictate how I want it and what I want, etc.

However, I do believe being a VA can still be very lucrative. It just depends on what jobs a VA is doing.
